Ouch! If it's any consolation, no one else will spot it as easily as you, Liz. I'm the same when people put a double "ll" in the middle of Lilian.
the e and i in your name are around the wrong way! How frustrating!!

I once had a German translation published under the name Joy Fielding. I bet she was surprised!
That's one thing you'd expect your publisher to get right. Ouch! (Me, too, on having my name misspelled. I normally end up adding 'without an e' whenever I say my surname and smiling verrrry sweetly.)

Do you think the cover will become valuable like those postage stamps that are printed upside down? Get the word out and there probably won’t be one left on the shelves.
BTW: My mother’s name was Lillian. Pronounced Lil lee an. Do you know if Lilian is pronounced Lil ee an?
It seems authors like the names Fielding and Darcy. Of course, I always want to write D’arcy from my high school French ala D'Artagnan and sur le pont d'avignon.

Really, Kate? I'd never have thought of adding an "e" to Hardy. I do always have to spell my married name, though. A confusion of "l" and "p"s!
You're right, Vince, a lot of authors do choose character/author names when inventing a pseudonym - thinking Emma Darcy, Charlotte Lamb. Fielding is actually a family name - just lucky I guess!
