LIFE IMITATING ART...

I’m going to have to be extremely careful what kind of animals I introduce into my books in future.

Following Hector, the Trojan Hamster, my dd bought herself the cuddly and very beautiful Rex – okay, she’s a Janet Evanovitch fan, too!

Now, following my latest book -- THE SECRET LIFE OF LADY GABRIELLA, May ‘07 – in which a baby rabbit provides a major plot turning point, she has sent me a picture of Pudding, the latest member of the family. He’s coming to visit later in the month, along with Nigel.

I'll keep you posted!

I'm not quite sure whether that's a rabbit or a lion you'll have in your house. Can't wait for the update :)

Cutie pic - will make sure my daughter doesn't see this or she'll demand a friend for Byron. (I'd love another puppy, but... DH is adamant.)

How cute! And I'm so glad you have new animal fodder... the hamster book was so good. :)

That is so cute! But I'd still rather steal Nigel - he's gorgeous.
Be careful Liz - the M&Pers have already launched a Black Ops Mission for your ideas book - they might want to steal your Pudding as well.
(Now why doesn't that sound quite right??)

I've hopefully headed off the black ops team, Kate -- thanks for the warning!

Dream -- if you like animals in books then Lady Gabriella is the one for you. There's Mollie (cat), Roger (rabbit), Nigel (guinea pig) and Rufus (red setter)... I got a bit carried away -- g --

The black ops team is even now absailing to get your idea book...

The rabbit is wonderful. Could prove a useful hostage.
