SHAKER JUGS

I'm blogging at eHarlequin this month (see the previous post for a link) and everyone wanted to see the Shaker Jug I'm buying as treat for myself this week. Since I can't post a photograph there, I'm posting it here.

I haven't made up mind which one, yet!

Well, I'll jump in, Liz. I don't know what colour scheme you prefer in your house, but I think the plain white ones are rather sweet and will mix and match well. Aren't they lovely? I adore jugs and have been thinking about building up a little collection.
Now you've inspired me -- I'm going to do it.
Maybe there's a book there. The Joy of Jugs!!

Oh Liz, I have to say I love the top one!!!! They are simply gorgeous aren't they?

And you get these where exactly? Said she spending advance money before finishing book...

Hi Barbara, Hi Trish

I love jugs to, Barbara. I have a lovely one I bought in a pottery in Jersey, and another sweet Welsh one with a sheep. And a set of those old fashioned brown jugs. I use them for garden flowers in the summer. The Joy of Jugs (er, you do realise that the word has an alternative meaning in British slang, don't you? You might well have a best seller there!)

Trish, I put a hot link to the site where they're sold -- just click on "buying" (g)!

Personally, I prefer the one with the dark blue base and heart. It has a sort of heaviness, I think the blue grounds the design. The plain white would look nice if it didn't have the heart decal.

They are all lovely. I like the white ones... They would go well with flowers.

Heavens, that sparked a bit of interest. Euri, I have to say that it was the dark blue jug that first caught my attention. But I'm going to stretch out the pleasure of making a decision. What this space!

Me too on a vote for the white one. (Mind you - there is the school of thought that if you can't choose, you should have them all...)

Oh, you are a bad influence! I've just clicked on that link... and they do mugs. One with a little pink heart. If Princess Chloe sees it, it will be love at first sight. (I quite liked the sky star one as well.)

I will get my revenge with Radley handbags when I see you at the RNA do next month :)

Lots of pretty things, Kate. And no, sorry, I won't be at the Savoy this year -- shame, I have a great new handbag, too.

Ooh, they are lovely Liz! My first instinct was to go with the white too. But I have red trim in my kitchen so maybe -

Sorry, this was about you buying a jug, wasn't it?

Go with your heart...

Shame I won't be seeing you. Maybe at the September lunch... (I got the bag today. I'm blaming you, my friend Jo and my daughter as the people who made me do it;) )

You're going to blame three of us and you only have one bag! Definitely see you in September, Kate.
