The pig didn't make it. I took a photograph, tinsel, reindeer horns and everything, and no matter what I did I couldn't get it onto my blog in time for Christmas. Ah, well, next year then.

I hope you all had a wonderful time, loads of romantic -- or at least eccentric -- presents. I have this huge box of Thornton's chocolates that an aunt sent me; the temptation is horrendous but I'm being good. Chocolate is supposed to be good for a sore throat, though and I do have a hideously sore throat...

I have some cheering news, too. Her Wish List Bridegroom has been nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award, along with books by colleagues Jessica Hart, Natasha Oakley, Susan Fox, Jackie Braun, Trish Wylie and Barbara McMahon.

Happy New Year everyone.

Excellent news, Liz, and very well deserved. Great start to the new year!

(And what's this about a pig? I missed something...)

Sympathy on the sore throat. Come east and have a snowball fight followed by a hot toddy. That'd help ;)

Thanks, Kate. We've got some snow of our own now, thanks, but I'm keeping well out of it. The toddy sounds good though!

The pig? We have a pair of pigs who guard our gate posts, Duchess and Saddleback who get dressed up for Christmas!

Liz, I hope that the sore throat disappears before the New Year rings in. Absolutely the worse thing is having a cold or sore throat in the height of winter.

Congratulations on your nomination. They have wonderful tastes, as your stories are lovely!

On a personal note, I received a request for the full manuscript on my current WIP from Silhouette Desire, and that baby will be heading out the door to New York in about two weeks. Scared, but excited, too!

I hope you have a very Happy New Year! Take care, Jamie.

Thanks for the congrats and sympathy, Jamie. The throat is horrible, but the good news for the rest of the family is that the voice has gone!

Great news on the request for a full. Fingers firmly crossed for you.
