THE GRAND-DOGS...

... enjoying the snow this Christmas!

From left to right, Milo, Kees, Flynn and Bob.

It's my last blog of the year.  Time to look back and remember at all the great stuff that's happened and forward to that wonderful sense of a clean sheet that comes every first of January.

Thanks so much for spending time with me, sharing the great moments, your own memories, joys.  For buying the books, or borrowing them from the library and coming here to talk about them.  And well, for just being so .... nice.  I hope you all had a terrific holiday.

If, like me, you've indulged yourself rotten over the holidays, you'll be brimming over with resolutions about getting fit, losing weight, getting on top of stuff.  Getting the pages written every day BEFORE you open the email.  I may even keep them!

In the meantime, all my very best wishes for a fabulous new year.  May it be special, filled with unexpected delights, the fulfilment of dreams and ambitions and great books.

See you all in 2010!

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS!

I've done it! I finally stopped dithering and taken the plunge and bought myself an eReader as an early Christmas present.

I've been thinking about it since this time last year when I saw a Sony eReader at Waterstones in Bath. But it so crowded with Christmas shoppers that I couldn't cope with the crush. But now Mills & Boon have got together with Sony and produced this fabulous pink limited edition version and it's on a special offer at the M&B website. (UK only - sorry!) You also get three ready loaded books, plus a voucher for ten more.

Reader, I clicked!

If you want to check it out, here's a link You'll see it as one of the options on the rolling bar at the top of the page.

CHRISTMAS AND STUFF...

I'm tidying up the last book, ploughing on with Santa's Secret Elf, and barely lifting my head from the desk. But people are out there having fun.

Do drop by for the TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS at Donna Alward's blog. There's a book being given away each day (including one of mine) and a big prize at the end.

There is also going to be a big prize with books from a load of Harlequin "Romance" authors in December, which will be feature on our series blog, our blogs at eHarlequin and our Facebook Fan page. (Links on the side bar)

I had a little Christmas present of a sort this week when I picked a link on How to Start Your Romance Novel by Literary Agent
Chuck Sambuchino here

How lovely when an agent's blog features the opening of one your books to demonstrate how it's done!

And last, the British women's writing magazine MSLEXIA, which I've subscribed to since it first launched, featured the launch party of LOVES ME, LOVES ME NOT - an anthology of short stories from the Romantic Novelists' Associations finest to celebrate their 50th anniversary coming up in 2010.

I'm sucking up all photos and reports since I had to miss it due to a horrible cold which just won't quit.
